03 Khao WangPhra Nakhon Khiri Historical Park & Palace on the mountain.

Beautiful historical park is also known as Khao Wang (Palace Mountain). The palace part was built by King Rama IV in the 19th century, but there are 2 other areas: A temple and pagoda built on the other peaks of the mountain which overlooks Petburi town altogether make this a spectacular and unique area. A new.

The whole area is quite large so there is a reasonable amount of walking between the sections, so it is recommended to take a cable-car from the base of the mountain in order to avoid the fairly steep walk up to the top.
